The 7th edition of Forevermark Forum began today at Pullman, Aerocity in New Delhi. The three day forum is being held from 9th to 11th July. The Forevermark Forum, which came into being seven years ago, is one of the most important platforms for authorised jewellers, diamantaires and manufacturers from across India.

The ‘Future is Now’ themed forum aims to bring life to important elements like the economy, the evolution of Family run businesses, the overwhelming impact of technology, the changing disruptive business world and the impact on environment and sustainability and provide a directional view to encourage all delegates to chalk out their future and get to making it a reality.

India is headed to becoming a $5 trillion economy by 2025, as the forecasts say, this means that its economy will double over the next five years or so. Such a mammoth economic boost occurs rarely to a nation of our size. China made its own leap from $2 trillion to $10 trillion in GDP size around the early 2000s. The Indian economy is gearing up for a similar jump. This is the time for the Indian retailers to understand the real shift and get their plans for future in place.

The forum is held for more than just promoting business -- it also focuses on technology, innovations, trends, consumer insights, knowledge management, information sharing, and more. The core idea is to look beyond the present, and think and plan ahead.

Some of the hightlights of the forum include a knowledge series by Ronnie Screwvala and Artificial Intelligence by Sophia, the Humanoid. Sophia is the first non-human to be given a United Nations title.
