Couture India 2021 Flagged Off To Grand Start In Goa

Couture India 2021, a grand G & J show which stands for excellence in quality, selection and design, is on from today, March 19 at Taj Resorts and Convention Centre, Goa. It will conclude on March 21. Exhibitors from different product categories, selected 150+ retailers from across India have come together at this grand show

Couture India stands out from the rest of the G & J exhibitions and shows conducted worldwide – with its distinctive content, format, eclectic exhibitors of fine gems and jewellery. The show was inaugurated on March 19 in the midst of top retailers: Ishu Datwani of Anmol; Himanshu Shekhar, Manoharlal Jewellers, Pankaj Khurana, Khurana Jewellers, Ashish Pethe, Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers, Suhas M S, Bhima Jewellery, Mansukh Kothari, Vasupati Jewellers, along with organisers Alok Kala and Arpit Kala.

“While planning Couture India Show 2021, we gave highest importance to selecting limited exhibitors and retailers, all of whom have been pre-approved. We had to do this because of the pandemic and the in order to ensure business-to-business deals being transacted. We have retained our core concept of the show have but moved the show to a safer city Goa, more a reason for buyers to enjoy and do business with pleasure and style,” explains Arpit Kala organizer of the show. Buyers and exhibitors will be residing at the same venue where the exhibition is being held, this ensures maximum convenience and perfect business cum holiday environment. 

Says Vaibhav Saraf, Aishhpra, UP, “The exhibitors are totally crème de la crème. The show timing is excellent considering the upcoming wedding season and Akshay Tritiya. There is no better place to shop than at Couture India Show 2021. By the time we place the orders market will be awaiting this new stock. Light weight off beat accessories, coloured stones, lots of chunky jewellery, contemporary pieces are something we are looking forward to.” 

The hallmark of Couture Shows has always been insightful curating and getting select, jewellers together, and offering some outstanding jewellery. Couture has made a name for being arguably one of best curated shows across the world. 

Speaking about his expectations of Couture India Show 2021 Pratap Kamath, of Abaran Timeless Jewellery, Bangalore says, “The organisers have done a fantastic job of picking the best manufacturers in every category, the diamond sets, jadau jewellery, polki, et al. that simplifies the job for retailers; it makes it easier for us to be able to select what we want in a more peaceful environment. The location is great too. Yugadi is happening in April, Akshay Tritiya is just around the corner and it is an excellent timing for retailers to source good jewellery.” 

While manufacturers have exhibited their best wares and displayed some exquisite jewellery in terms of select designs. According to Abhishek Ghatiwala, Ghatiwala Jewellers, Jaipur, “This Couture India Show is a breakthrough because since the past one year we have not had any physical shows happening. This is the first offline show since the pandemic  and therefore I am excited to be a part of it. All the clients I have spoken to are also excited to be here. The format is unique and so it should rock. We have created a lower range from Rs 1 lakh to 5 lakh wherein we have included some unique designer jewellery apart from that we have created a whole new bridal range of jewellery.” 

Couture India Show always brings the best manufacturers and retailers together. About 45 exhibitors from all product categories, selected 150+ retailers from across India have come together in this three-day boutique concept show in Goa.
  
All in all, Couture India Show 2021 has stood up to the expectations of suppliers and retailers who are meeting face to face at this grand and safe venue after nearly a year of strife and uncertainty.
