According to reports, The American Gem Society Laboratories (AGS) has appointed Joe Van Ells as the new director of gemological services.%%Van Ells has vast experience in the field of diamond grading. He has served as jewelry manufacturer Stuller’s large diamond grading manager and gemology instructor since 2002 and previously was a gemstone buyer and quality assurance manager for QVC Shopping Network. He has also served as a gemological instructor for GIA.%%Van Ells will be responsible for directing the team of diamond grading professionals.
