The 17th edition of the prestigious 'Jaipur Jewellery Show' (JJS) will be held from 24 December to 27 December at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) at Sitapura as scheduled. The theme of this four-day grand event is 'Inspire to Create a Fashion Statement'.
According to JJS Chairman V.C. Surana, “JJS is the most awaited event of the year. It will give a boost to the industry again.”
Surana further said that the last edition of JJS had more than 800 booths in 2 lakh square feet area. It made all arrangements for the culmination of skilled artisans, expert sellers, keen buyers and enthusiastic visitors. This time, the show will again have hundreds of booths of gemstones and outstanding fine Jewellery. Apart from displaying luxurious gemstones, contemporary and traditional jewellery will also be showcased at JJS. In addition, more than 500 top jewellery retailers from India will exhibit at JJS.
JJS Secretary Rajiv Jain said that JJS, popularly known as 'The December Show', has become an important event of the country with quality national and foreign visitors. “This year, due to pent up demand for gems and jewellery, we have much higher queries for the show,” said Jain.
JJS continues to be a complete show for people of all budgets, displaying gold, silver, platinum, brass and other precious metals, as well as diamonds, emeralds and about 300 coloured gemstones. Kundan Meena - the speciality of Jaipur and Rajasthan - is the most sought-after item due to its uniqueness. Other items related to gems and jewellery will also be a part of the show. There will be an ‘Exhibitors’ Meet’ to brief the exhibitors about COVID protocol.
JJS Spokesperson Ajay Kala said that JJS is reflective of the brand of Jaipur to the world.
