The newest conceptual collection by fine jewellery maison Her Story thoughtfully brings alive these humanitarian views and values.

Sero (derived from ‘sarat’ meaning ‘thread’ in Sanskrit; ‘to link or join’ in Latin) is a collection inspired by the compassion of a person who lives mindfully of the world around them. This synergy is captured through the intricacy of Chikankari – a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow, India. The jewels feature delicately linked, flexible rose-cut and pavé-set brilliant-cut diamonds that are meticulously patterned around Akoya pearls in fine threadwork-inspired designs.

A new linking technique was specially devised for this collection, allowing the links to appear invisible and create a unique flexible effect with the rose-cut diamonds. Not only was a group of craftsmen trained to master this specialised technique, but it also took around 1100 hours of workmanship to fine-tune just the first lead piece with a special team of three craftsmen. Elegant and intricate, the 18K rose-gold jewels are defined by subtle tone-on-tone hues, timeless silhouettes and rich texture.
