Over 250 participants attended, with 200 artisans enrolling in the Parichay card scheme
GJEPC and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) organised a workshop for jewellers based in Goa on 4th November, at the Goa BJP office. The workshop was chaired by Shri Sadanand Tanawade, Goa BJP President and Member of Parliament, GJEPC, and attended by representatives of the All India Daivagya Swarnakar Sangh, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, and various jewellers’ associations.
The workshop aimed to provide information and guidance to the jewelers on various benefits and schemes offered by the GJEPC, the MSME Ministry, and the banks. The topics covered included Cluster Development, Enterprise Registration, Z Scheme, PMS, IC Scheme, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Collateral-free Loan, Parichay Card, Export Through Courier Mode, IIJS, Visitor Registration, IJEX, International Cooperation, Capacity Building Scheme, Call Center, Mobile App, and the Jewellery Park.
Shri Dhananjay Johri, Assistant Director, MSME Ministry, explained in detail the various initiatives and programs of the ministry to support jewellers in the MSME sector. He also answered the queries and doubts of the participants regarding the eligibility and application process of the schemes.
More than 250 people participated in a workshop at a two-day camp, of which 200 artisans enrolled in the Parichay card scheme.
