Mithilesh Pandey, Director of Membership at GJEPC, led discussions on the potential of the gem and jewellery industry, particularly emphasizing the India Jewellery Park in Mahape, Navi Mumbai.

During his address, Pandey elaborated on the burgeoning export avenues available to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through channels such as courier services, e-commerce platforms, and hand carriage. He highlighted GJEPC's robust support infrastructure, which includes a membership exceeding 10,000 entities, stringent KYC protocols, a code of ethics, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Pandey also spotlighted the upcoming IIJS show as a pivotal platform offering new business prospects for MSMEs. In addition, Pandey emphasized initiatives benefiting approximately 7.5 lakh artisans, including schemes like Swasthya Ratna and the Parichay card. He outlined GJEPC's strategic roadmap aimed at transforming all council members into exporters.

The event witnessed presentations from senior representatives of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), District Industries Centre (DIC), India Post, and other key institutions. Attended by around 250 industrialists, the session concluded with Pandey expressing gratitude to Collector Thane and the Additional Secretary of Industry for their steadfast support.
