On July 30, 2024, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) held two pivotal workshops in Howrah aimed at boosting the region's gem and jewellery exports. These workshops were designed to provide local manufacturers with essential knowledge and resources to access international markets.
The first workshop took place at the Export Facilitation Centre in Ankurhati Gems & Jewellery Park, in collaboration with the Ankurhati Gems & Jewellery Manufacturing Welfare Association. The second workshop was hosted at the Panchayat Office of BDO, Domjur, in partnership with the District Industries Centre (DIC), Howrah, as part of the Cluster Development program.
