In a significant move toward environmental sustainability, members of the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) Organising Committee planted saplings at the Rajasthan University campus and the residence of the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alpana Kateja. The initiative, organized in collaboration with Srishti Foundation, was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor.

The event was marked by the presence of key figures, including Vimal Chand Surana, Chairman of the JJS Organising Committee; Rajiv Jain, Honorary Secretary of JJS; Dinesh Khatoria, Vice President of JJS; and Vivek Sharma, Founder of Srishti Foundation, along with other committee members.

Rajiv Jain highlighted JJS's longstanding commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. He shared that in the first phase of this plantation campaign, 200 saplings were planted. Looking ahead, JJS plans to plant a total of 1,200 saplings during the 2024 show, matching the number of booths this year.

This initiative underscores JJS's dedication to contributing positively to the environment, aligning with broader efforts to promote sustainability within the jewellery industry and beyond.
