Tanishq has launched its Diwali campaign Nav-Raani, celebrating modern women as queens of their everyday lives. Directed by renowned filmmaker Mira Nair, the campaign highlights women’s strength, beauty, and elegance through a collection of exquisitely handcrafted jewellery
This Diwali, Tanishq, India’s premier jewellery brand from the TATA Group, has launched a striking new campaign titled Nav-Raani, paying tribute to modern women who rule their worlds with grace, strength, and confidence. The campaign, conceptualized by Lowe Lintas and brought to life by acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair, marks her debut in Indian television commercials.
The Nav-Raani campaign showcases the idea that women don’t need crowns to feel royal—they carry their strength, beauty, and elegance as their personal badge of royalty. The collection features intricate, handcrafted designs that celebrate the unique qualities of every woman, offering jewellery that enhances her regal essence during festive moments like Diwali.
Rooted in the concept of “Made by Women, for the Women,” Nav-Raani highlights the multifaceted roles women play—from nurturing families to excelling in their careers. It also emphasizes the solidarity among women as they uplift and support each other. Inspired by the grandeur of royal courts and palaces, Nav-Raani redefines traditional jewellery by blending classic artisanship with a modern twist.
The film, set against the backdrop of a magical Diwali night, follows four women—modern-day queens—each embodying beauty, power, and sophistication. Whether lighting diyas or hosting family celebrations, the Nav-Raani collection accentuates their inner royalty, making them feel elegant and empowered.
“This Diwali, we are proud to present Nav-Raani—Royal Jewellery for Modern-Day Queens,” said Pelki Tshering, Chief Marketing Officer at Tanishq. “Our campaign celebrates women who wear their grace and warmth like a crown, shining in every aspect of their lives. Mira Nair has beautifully captured this essence, reflecting our belief that every woman is a modern queen.”
Vasudha Misra, President (Creative) at Lowe Lintas, added, “Though the age of royalty may have passed, many queens continue to nurture and expand their kingdoms in everyday life. Nav-Raani celebrates these women. Mira Nair’s personal storytelling has added a unique touch, making each woman in the film relatable and identifiable.”
As Diwali approaches, Tanishq’s Nav-Raani collection invites women across India to embrace their inner queens and adorn themselves with jewellery that reflects their inner strength and beauty.
