Sukra Jewellery has made history by securing a Guinness World Record for creating the world’s largest silver wardrobe, a monumental piece that marks the company’s 45th anniversary in the silver industry
Sukra Jewellery has officially entered the Guinness World Records with the creation of the world's largest silver wardrobe, a tribute to the brand's 45 years of excellence in the silver industry. The impressive wardrobe, standing at a height of 7 feet, width of 3 feet, and depth of 2 feet, weighs an astounding 158.78 kilograms and is crafted from 92.5% pure silver.
The intricate design of the wardrobe draws inspiration from the rich artistic traditions of 16th-17th century India, incorporating elements from Pichwai and Rajput art styles. The wardrobe features a striking peacock on the front and detailed depictions of deer, birds, and trees along its sides, reflecting the beauty of nature and Indian heritage.
This remarkable feat required more than 6,900 hours of craftsmanship, with a dedicated team of 12 silversmiths working meticulously under the leadership of Nithin Kalkiraju, CEO and Head of Design. The achievement showcases Sukra Jewellery's dedication to combining traditional artistry with innovation, solidifying its reputation as a pioneer in the silver jewellery industry.
