During their recent study tour to Jaipur, students from the J K Diamonds Institute of Gems and Jewelry had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of gemstone artistry and jewelry design. The tour included hands-on visits to gemstone carving workshops, Kundan Meena artistry sessions, the vibrant local gem market, and participation in the prestigious Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS).
A highlight of the tour was the Jaipur Jewellery Design Festival 2024, where one of our students, Ms. Sonal Lakhera, earned an impressive 2nd place in the highly competitive design competition titled "Rubies Redefined." Sonal stood out among over 100 designs from 10 top institutes, with her innovative piece that beautifully captured the essence of the theme, showcasing both her creative vision and technical expertise.
This achievement not only reflects Sonal’s dedication and skill but also underscores the exceptional training and industry exposure provided at J K Diamonds Institute. Our faculty members applauded Sonal for her outstanding accomplishment and commended all students for their enthusiasm and active participation during the entire tour.
The experience was truly inspiring, motivating our students to explore their creative boundaries and pursue even more opportunities for growth and success. At J K Diamonds Institute of Gems & Jewelry, such moments of achievement reinforce our commitment to shaping the next generation of leaders in the gems and jewelry industry.
