BHP said that it was ready to resume joint diamond exploration in Angola along with Alto Cuilo, post the fatal crash of its helicopter in the region, a month ago. Amongst the five who died in the crash were BHP Angola's Chief Operating Officer - David Hopgood and Kevin Ayre, Operations Manager of Angola Technical Services. BHP had said that it was going to probe into the cause of the tragic accident, but no results have surfaced so far.
