Israel's January polished diamond exports rise by 84%

Total imports of rough and polished diamonds more than tripled

Touching upon the need for an ethical order in the diamond business, the Dalumi Group intends to be closely associated with the the locals in Botswana. It has decided to associate with the SOS Children's Villages, a social organisation, and donate funds to the Tioweng Children's Village in Gaborone. The decision was announced on November 28 at Dalumi’s charity initiative, where Hang Van Den Broeck the acting General Manager of Dalumi Botswana met with Derek James the National Director of the SOS Children's Villages Association in Botswana. %% The Children’s village includes 16 family houses, and Dalumi Group would offer a yearly fund towards food, clothing, medication and school materials for a family house that contains 12 children. Yuval Kemp the Dalumi's Director of Marketing said that, "Being part of the project enables Dalumi to be really close to the local population, supporting their needs and continuing the ethical and responsible way in which we conduct our business."
