{{KIAH}}, the official Crown and Jewellery Sponsor for the {{Pond's Femina Miss India 2005}} conducted on March 15 at Mumbai, a special session titled 'Time for Diamonds' for the 23 contestants this year. This is the first time in the history of the pageant that the contestants are being initiated into the finer nuances about the sparkling gem.
Diamonds have been synonymous with celebrities particularly at the major award shows such as the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the Emmys, the Grammys and other elite events. In addition to giving the stars some extra sparkle, the right jewellery can put them over the top in terms of finishing off their formal wear with the perfect accessory. Specially designed diamond jewellery worn at these events has also most often sparked off a fashion and jewellery trend.
{{Ajay Kakadia}}, MD, {{Sheetal Creations Pvt. Ltd.}} said, "Diamonds from an essential part of a woman's fashion statement. The designs worn by celebrities the world over are what set the trends for the others. These young contestants are the trendsetters of tomorrow. It is with this in mind that we at Sheetal Creations have organized this interactive session to initiate them into sparkle of diamonds."
The training session was anchored by {{Prasad Kapre}}, Director DPS, Diamond Trading Company (DTC). Kapre spoke to the contestants about diamonds in detail. They were given an insight into fashion and diamonds and the trends that follow.

Parigi}}, MD & CEO, TIML, said, "This initiative by KIAH holds interesting possibilities for enriching the PFMI partnership with KIAH." %% The training session was then followed by a KIAH song that has been specially dedicated to the girls. %% Finally, each of the 23 contestants was given a KIAH diamond pendant as a memento by {{Govind L. Kakadia}}, Chairman of the Sheetal Group. %%{{Sushmita Sen}}, Brand Ambassador for KIAH said, "Remember... Femina Miss India is a celebration, but you, my dear... are the occasion! With love... with dreams... with promise and with hope... God bless you!"
