The Almas Tower is soon to be the new office address of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) office, as the trade body announced its relocation to the Tower. DMCC will begin operations from its new office from July 22, 2008, from the 49th, 50th and 51st floors of the 65-storeyed building, within the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) development. As before, the new DMCC office will operate to deliver the complete portfolio of services. Its Registration and Legal Services, Finance, Corporate Business Development and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) departments will be located on the 49th floor, while the Government Services Departments for both DMCC and JLT will be operating from the Jewellery and Gemplex (Building No. 3, Ground floor). %% Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC, said: “DMCC’s relocation to its own offices at Almas Tower marks the first phase in the development of a commodity-specific physical cluster in Dubai. We look forward to offering seamless services to our members from within a single location. Almas Tower is the flagship of the JLT development and will represent the newest hub for commodity trading in the Middle East.” %% The Almas Tower will also house the Dubai Diamond Exchange, making it a significant landmark for the city and the trade in the Middle East. The Tower has an architectural design of spiralling-theme glass, and is equipped with hi-tech security systems and secure vaulting facilities for its occupants.
