Rio Tinto launches its first sustainable jewellery collection

Titled Nature's Beauty, the collection is made of gold from Rio Tinto's Kennecott Utah Copper mine in the US, with white and champagne diamonds from Rio Tinto's Argyle Diamond Mine in Australia.

The Macau International Jewelry and Watch Fair 2009 (MJS Macao 2009) is scheduled to be held between February 28 to March 3, 2009, as announced by Mr. Sunny Liu, Director of MJS Trade Fairs (Macau) Ltd. (“The Company”). The venue for the event has been lined up as the Venetian Convention & Exhibition Center in Macau.%% The show dates have been strategically planned, to invite maximum number of buyers. The show will fall between the Bangkok Show and the Hong Kong Show, ands during the merchandising season of Asia Jewelry Industry. %% “On top of offering very attractive package such as free hotel rooms to buyers registered before the commencement of the fair and buyers invited by exhibitors, we offer free air tickets to eminent buyers coming from all over the world.” emphasizes Mr. Liu. The organisers are making every effort to make this show, which will be the second edition of the MJS Macao, as an enriching experience over the previous edition. Delegations of buyers are being invited from Middle East, Eastern Europe, Europe South America, Russia and USA.
