The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) has extended its condolence towards the recent terror attacks in Mumbai, in a letter written by Eli Haas, chairman of the board of directors and Cecilia L. Gardner, Esq., president, CEO and general counsel of the JVC, to Mr. Anup Mehta, president, Bharat Diamond Bourse and Mr. Vasant Mehta, chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council. %% The letter reads as: Dear Mr. Mehta, %% On behalf of the entire Board of Directors of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, we wish to express our deepest sympathies to the people of Mumbai, India at this painful time. %% Our prayers go to the families and loved ones of those who were killed or hurt in the calculated terrorist attacks that started on November 26.
