Botswana, the leading diamond producing country in the world, intends to train its nationals at Indian diamond companies to understand the art of diamond cutting and polishing, reports say. India is known worldwide as a leading centre in diamond cutting and polishing. %% According to reports, the association between the two countries’ diamond industries would also be a stepping stone to attract more Indian sightholders to set up factories in Botswana, with two already existing in Botswana. The initiative is being looked upon as a starter to develop a benefication industry in Botswana, add reports.
