He will help attendees shift their thinking to a triple bottom line or 3Ps: people, planet and profit. %% Nattrass consults with some of the most prominent global brands on the strategy and implementation of sustainable business practices, including Nike, Starbucks, Target, Nordstrom, VF Corp, The North Face, REI, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and many others. Patrick Peys
%% Patrick Peys, a detective with the Belgian Federal Police Service, will present “Masterminds and Thieves: Tales of Intrigue, Swindles and Heists,” during a special “lunch and learn” session. Peys, the lead detective of the Diamond Squad, the world’s only police team that specializes in diamond crimes, has investigated smuggling, swindles, fraud and money laundering in his 15-year career with the team. %% Peys and fellow detectives are featured in the book, “Flawless: Inside the Largest Diamond Heist in History,” which chronicles the investigation of one of the world’s biggest diamond heists. The robbery took place Feb. 15, 2003 in the legendary Antwerp diamond district, and the thieves got away with nearly half a billion dollars in diamonds, cash and other valuables. %%
GIA Symposium 2006
