A part of The ‘Make in India’ initiative by Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi, a fashion show was held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya in Mumbai. PNG Jewellers, a legendary jewellery brand with almost two centuries of experience and excellence, joined hands with Neeta Lulla, the ace designer to present an authentic and breathtaking show at Maharashtra Textile week. A part of Modi’s Make in India initiative, Maharashtra Textile Week brought together five A league designers! Neeta Lulla, known for her unique designs and themes, paid tribute to the weaver community of Maharashtra by showcasing pure Paithani bridals. Neeta Lulla stood out through her original and her exquisite and wide collection. She used Paithani Fabric for her entire range and ensured each design was unique and gave it a global twist with contemporary silhouettes. From the ensemble to colours and textures, each design from her collection was unique. PNG Jewellers, one of the oldest jewellers of Maharashtra, with almost two centuries of experience and excellence, were the jewellery partners. Authentic traditional Maharashtrian jewellery that exudes elegance and grandeur added an element of originality to the whole show. In another fashion show, for Anju Modi's finale act for Make in India campaign, Anmol Jeweller was the jewellery partner. The Bajirao Mastani designer, Anju Modi displayed a powerful collection of bridal couture with a vast range of colour palettes and intricate hand-made embroidery. “Make in Maharashtra week was an important and prestigious event to be associated with. Keeping the grandeur and extensiveness, of the event aside, this was our way of showing our respect and support to the weaver community. Such avenues will, give them a global platform to express their artistry,” said Neeta Lulla.
