When quizzed about the thought behind venturing into retail segment, Arvind Katrela, Managing Director says, “When we started off, we realised that there were no stores in Chennai that sold designer jewellery, and that is why we decided to launch our first designer jewellery outlet in Chennai. JCS Jewel Creations is the first of its kind retail store launched only in Chennai. We are slowly expanding our horizons.” %% JCS is different from other jewellery stores on many levels. Explaining this further he says, “Firstly, we are a designer jewellery boutique and are not a commercial jewellery store. The new outlet has been established in over 2000 sq. ft of premium shopping space with exclusive parking and waiting lounges for children and senior citizens.” Coming to the USP, he shares, “Our high standard for quality is our USP. We choose the finest metal – gold, silver or platinum – to create the timeless designs. We make sure that we source the finest, purest and more rare gemstones. Our entire collection of jewellery is handmade. We use only real stones for our jewellery. We do not compromise on the quality of the stones or the gold as we provide our clients the best jewellery.
