De Beers Forevermark Forum 2021 promises a lot to look forward to and is also all set to showcase an array of retail innovations

De Beers Forevermark Forum 2021 is in the final stages of preparations and promises a lot of action and the unveiling of not just jewellery, but innovative tools to take the browsing and buying experience to a whole new level.Enthusiasm levels are high, in the industry as this is one of the first  physical shows of the season. Additionally, De Beers Forevermark has put safety at the forefront to ensure all the attendees have a safe experience.

What’s in store…

This time around, De Beers Forevermarkis not only showcasing jewellery, but also a variety ofretail innovations that are expected to add to the overall experience of attending a high-profile event. For instance, attendees will be introduced to the Facial AI Tool, which leverages AI to derive actionable emotion insights and deliver customer experiences that are more likely to resonate with customers.

Then there will be the Ringfie Podium, an interactive tool for in-store activations. It will enable consumers to engage with products and click selfies of the jewellery on their hands and promote it via social media, and the Virtual Gift Tag, which is an innovative tool that takes gifting to the next level.  It will enable users to leave a personalized voice message, instead of a gift tag, for their loved ones.

Besides, the Forum will showcase theGrading and FMX Online demo, which is a consumer tool for obtaining a grading certificate instantly online. FMX is a B2B centralised inventory management platform which gives real time availability of stocks.

Attendees will also get to experience the Virtual Try-On, a real-time augmented reality platform for retail brands, which enables consumers to virtually tryon products and experience what the jewellery will look like on them before the actual purchase. It can be used both in-store and online.

Additionally, the all-new MK 5 viewerwill be introduced, which will give customersa better understanding and easy display of the inscription number. The boutique and virtual tour kioskwill enable people to visit stores virtually, explore collections and gather brand information.

Other features at the venue

In addition to the technology display, the Forum will also introduce the De Beers Forevermark Diamond Jewellery Report, which now certifies all the diamonds of the product, not just the De Beers Forevermark diamond.

There will also be an exclusive dedicated area to training, which will focus on important aspects such as mystery shopping, e-learning, revenue models and lockdown training.

Safety measures at the venue

A number of steps are being taken to ensure safety during these uncertain times.

Rapid Antigen tests will be conducted on entry. Besides, an interesting tool, Predictmedix Safe Entry Stations, which is an AI-powered product that uses non-invasive technology to capture data points, will be used to get data from each person walking through the entry screening units. Within seconds, it will determine if individuals are displaying any symptoms of infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.

Masks, sanitizer stations and face shields will also be available. Visitors will have a choice of mask lanyards; they can choose either green or redones, depending on their preference of interaction. Red will signify ‘keep distance’, while green will denote ‘limited interaction’.

The De Beers Forevermark Forum 2021 is slated to be held from 24th -26th August in Mumbai.
