The roadshow, designed to drum up excitement and participation for the forthcoming mega jewellery exhibition, attracted prominent jewellers from across the city.

Rajiv Jain, Honorary Secretary, JJS, delivered an engaging presentation during the event, highlighting what attendees can expect from the 22nd edition of the show. Scheduled to be held from December 20-23, 2024, at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre (JECC), the JJS has become a significant annual fixture in Jaipur, celebrating the city's long-standing tradition of exquisite jewellery and gemstones.

The event also saw the participation of key figures from the local jewellery community, including Shri Ravindra Nath Rastogi, President, Lucknow Sarafa Association (LSA), and Secretary, Shree Pradeep Agarwal. Their presence underscored the strong ties between the Jaipur and Lucknow jewellery communities.

Jain emphasized Jaipur's historical significance in the jewellery industry, noting that the city's rich heritage in this art form makes it the ideal host for such a prestigious event. He announced that this year's show would be themed "Ruby-Rare, Royal and Revered," with a special focus on the gemstone. The Ruby Promotion Support Group, consisting of 15 members and led by Gemfields as the Prime Promotion Partner, will play a central role in this year's edition.

Reflecting on the show's impressive growth, Jain noted that JJS has expanded from a modest 67 booths in its inaugural 2004 edition to a staggering 1,200 booths this year. Despite this expansion, there are still over 200 applicants on the waiting list, highlighting the show's popularity. Each year, the event attracts between 35,000 to 40,000 visitors, including international traders.

Building on the success of last year's newly introduced B2B Traders Pavilion, Jain announced the return of the “Pink Club,” which will feature 100 booths dedicated exclusively to B2B interactions. This initiative aims to foster deeper business connections and collaborations within the industry.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Kamal Kothari, Treasurer, JJS, who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants.

JJS continues to enjoy prestigious partnerships with organizations such as GJEPC, ICA, GJC, GIA, DTC, NJGCI, CIBJO, WFSB, RIO-TINTO, GEMFIELDS, IBJA, IGI, and DGL. It remains one of the few MSME-registered gem and jewellery exhibitions in India, solidifying its reputation as a cornerstone of the country's jewellery industry.
