The Delhi Jewellers Association (DJA), the most esteemed and trusted organization representing jewellers in Delhi, held its elections on October 8, 2023, at the prestigious NSCI Club in New Delhi
The elections, which saw active participation resulted in the election of the following office bearers who will serve a three-year term:
Additionally, a 15-member working committee was elected, featuring prominent personalities like Ashish Nahar, Puneet Datta, and Maiki Phophalia, among others.
Speaking at this momentous occasion, the esteemed patron of DJA, 95-year-old Mr. Sultan Singh Backliwal, reflected on the organization's rich history. Established in 1937, DJA has steadfastly served the interests of gem and diamond dealers throughout Delhi. It has played a pivotal role in negotiating public policies and promoting ethical trade within the jewellers' community.
DJA remains committed to its mission and looks forward to a dynamic and productive tenure with the newly elected working committee.
