GJF-led delegation meets FM

Dr. Shantibhai Patel, President, Gem & Jewellery Trade Council Of India (GJTCI), was felicitated with 'Gem of the Year’ award by the Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) for his contribution in gem and jewellery industry.%% Shantibhai Patel, a proprietor and also a Government Registered Valuer, is associated with many councils and associations including GJF and Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). %% Apart from securing the ‘Gem of the Year’ awards, Mr. Patel has received many honorary awards and recognitions in the past. Namely, Indira Gandhi Excellence Award For outstanding achievement in Gem & Jewellery 2013, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award For outstanding achievement in Gem & Jewellery 2013, GJF Award-Significant Contribution for Gem & Jewellery Sector 2010-2011, World Gold Council-Special Contribution in for Gold Promotion, GJF Award- Special Achievement for organising GIJS in 2011, Award received for Social Activity in Jewellery Industry by the Governor of Gujarat on behalf of Jewellers’ Association, Indian Achievers Award for Quality Excellence in 2006 and many more.%% Apart from being a source of strength for many and the backbone of GJTCI, Mr. Patel has played a pivotal role in the transformation and growth of the jewellery industry in Gujarat and has started the GJTCI-Education Division with an intention to offer high-quality education to anyone and everyone.
