The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) convened its inaugural meeting with the jewellery trade community of Kashmir on July 18th in Srinagar, marking a milestone in fostering closer ties and exploring collaborative opportunities within India's jewellery sector.
Chaired by Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, the meeting focused on sharing insights, discussing market trends, and identifying avenues for mutual growth and cooperation. The discussions centered on promoting Kashmir's rich heritage, distinctive craftsmanship, and exquisite designs, renowned throughout the industry.
Key attendees included Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman of GJEPC; Nirav Bhansali, Convener of the National Exhibitions Sub-committee; Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman – North; and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, along with other members of the Council's Committee of Administration.
In a bid to strengthen these newfound relationships, GJEPC extended an invitation to Kashmir's jewellery associations to participate in the upcoming IIJS Premiere from August 8th to 13th in Mumbai. This initiative underscores GJEPC's commitment to enhancing collaboration and expanding opportunities across India's diverse jewellery landscape.
