Lab-grown jewellery startup attracts fresh capital from India Quotient, Titan Capital, and Huddle Ventures
Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand True Diamond has secured Rs. 26 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by India Quotient, with continued participation from Titan Capital Winners Fund and Huddle Ventures. The capital infusion is expected to strengthen the brand’s omnichannel presence, particularly its offline retail footprint across metro cities.
Founded in early 2024 by Darayus Mehta and Parin Shah, True Diamond aims to redefine the luxury jewellery experience with a focus on sustainability, modern design, and accessibility. The brand offers an extensive range of lab-grown diamond jewellery, including rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, mangalsutras, and tennis bracelets, along with a dedicated men’s collection and options for customisation.
The company has already launched stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Noida, and plans to expand to more cities as part of its scale-up strategy. The fresh funds will be directed towards enhancing the in-store experience, expanding product offerings, and building deeper customer engagement across touchpoints.
True Diamond claims to have developed a catalogue of over 5,000 unique designs and reports a customer repeat rate of 1.7x, indicating strong early traction in a competitive market. By combining lab-grown diamonds with contemporary aesthetics, the brand is positioning itself as a compelling option for value-driven, design-conscious consumers.
The funding signals investor confidence in the rising potential of lab-grown diamonds in India’s jewellery market, especially as awareness grows around ethical sourcing, environmental impact, and affordability. With a dual approach to digital and physical retail, True Diamond is set to further establish its presence in the evolving fine jewellery segment.
