Dassani Brothers unveiled their latest high-jewellery collection, Aranya, at IIJS 2025 in Mumbai, paying homage to India’s sacred forests through intricate designs inspired by nature.
In a resplendent showcase at IIJS 2025 held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Dassani Brothers unveiled their latest high-jewellery collection, Aranya, a tribute to the enduring beauty and symbolism of India’s forests. The launch was graced by Shri Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), and Shri Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman, GJEPC, alongside Shri Arunbhai from Ankit Gems and other luminaries from the gem and jewellery industry.
Derived from the Sanskrit word for forest, Aranya embodies the spiritual and ecological richness of India’s wilderness. The collection captures the essence of nature’s quiet majesty—evoking flora and fauna through intricate designs that marry traditional techniques with contemporary elegance.
Commenting on the launch, Sumit Dassani, Partner at Dassani Brothers, said, “Aranya is more than a design journey—it’s an emotional and cultural statement. We’ve taken inspiration from nature’s untamed grace and interpreted it through our legacy of craftsmanship. To have industry leaders like Shri Kirit Bhansali and Shri Shaunak Parikh unveil the collection is an honour that affirms our commitment to excellence.”
Each piece in the Aranya collection is meticulously handcrafted, featuring uncut Polki diamonds, brilliant round diamonds, and handpicked coloured gemstones. Designs have taken over 400 hours of craftsmanship per piece, underscoring the brand’s dedication to quality and artistry. The collection seamlessly merges heritage jewellery-making with modern sensibilities, making it ideal for connoisseurs seeking heirloom-worthy creations with a contemporary edge.
The unveiling was met with widespread acclaim, with Aranya emerging as a key highlight of this year’s IIJS. The event also fostered thoughtful conversations on the rising influence of nature-inspired luxury and the evolving narrative of Indian jewellery design in global markets.
