Diamond Promotion Service will use its Design Max, proprietary online program, to measure consumer interest in jewelry designs. Participants receive a full report highlighting results of their designs against industry benchmarks and a one-hour consultation with a Journey Diamond Jewelry representative.
Submissions will be accepted online beginning January 18, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. EDT (New York time) and closed January 24, at 5:00 p.m. EDT. Diamond Promotion Service offers two payment options: $10,000 for 6-10 designs and $15,000 for 11-15 designs. Design Max will test applicants Journey design drawings. Images should appear against a white background, without shading (no shadow) in 180X180 pixels of size in ".jpg" digital format.
Specifications for Journey Diamond Jewelry include, graduated pattern of diamonds from smallest to largest; using only diamond; and a minimum of four diamonds used per item; and all items should have at least one significant sized diamond. As diamond rings are featured prominently in other marketing programs, Diamond Promotion Service says the Journey design is better suited for bracelets, necklaces, and earrings and does not plan to support Journey rings.
