The American Gem Society Laboratories website, www.agslab.com, has a new look and layout designed to ensure easier navigation. The website features the ability to download Lab packets, sample grading documents, a dictionary of terms used in the Performance-based Cut Grade System, a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section for consumers as well as one for the trade, and the AGS Laboratories trade-secure site where users can register for free, then download the cutting chart guidelines and published research on the AGS Laboratories Performance-based Cut Grade System.%% “We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service,” says Peter Yantzer, Executive Director of AGS Laboratories. “At the same time, we understand the importance of the Internet as a tool for educating and informing our clients, the consumer, or anyone interested in AGS Laboratories. We wanted to ensure that our site was easy to navigate and that information was readily accessible.”%%The American Gem Society launched their Performance-based Cut Grading System in 2005, and since then, AGS Laboratories has been implementing the system in their Diamond QualityTM Documents.
