The ever popular Rhinestone covered white glove which Micheal Jackson wore in his “Billie Jean” act has been bought for $350,000 by Hong Kong businessman, Hoffman Ma. The glove is part of a lot of 80 items of Jackson being offered at an auction which sold a plethora of Rock 'n Roll related items. The glove is made of cream leather covered with rhinestones. It was gifted by Jackson to Walter Orange, one of the founding members of the music group The Commodores, in 1983. %% The purchase price of the glove far exceeded the pre-sale estimate which was pinned at $50,000. Its bidding opened at $10,000. The 80 items of Jackson came from family and friends who had received them from the king of pop. The items were part of his "Billy Jean' act and the 1983 Motown 25 TV special, in which he displayed his moonwalk dance on television for the first time. %% The auction was organised by Julien’s Auctions at Times Square New York branch of Hard Rock Café on November 21, reports say.
