A jewellery robbery worth $1.3 million involving a ring and a diamond necklace, was reported at the ongoing Tefaf fair in Netherlands, reports say. The Tefaf fair is the world’s leading event for showcasing antiques. %% The stolen ring was embellished with a 11.65-carat sapphire. The diamond necklace, owned by London jeweller Hancock is embedded with a 7.23-carat diamond, reports add. The robbery was reported on the last day of the fair, yesterday. %% This was the 23rd edition of the Tefaf fair, which opened on March 12, and hosted 73,000 visitors. There were over 260 art and antiques dealers participating at the event, showcasing a product line including paintings, sculptures, pieces of furniture, jewellery, china, clothes and manuscripts.
