After forty years on international markets as a producer of jewellery and direct importer of diamonds, the World Diamond Group, an Italian firm located in Valenza (AL) and Vicenza, has just launched a new, high range line of jewellery - Gioconda. %% Gioconda, creations made entirely by hand according to original Italian designs and production processes, were presented by WDG at BaselWorld 2005. %% Combination Facility:$$ In Italian its name evokes waves playing on the beach and these absolutely innovative designs characterized by sinuously flexible forms are capable of wrapping around a body, just as a wave would. %% It is also possible to set one necklace into another, thanks to very particular "vanishing clasps that allow you to combine necklaces of different colors and dimensions, like an infinite Game (Gioco in Italian). %% These are truly valuable objects in that they are entirely encrusted with hundred of precious stones, each of which is fixed by hand. %% The collection includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings of different diameters, gemstones and styles. %% With rubies that offset the white of the diamonds, to blue sapphires alternated with white diamonds, or all diamonds : black "minimalist" that stand alone or are brightened up with the transparency of white. %% The Collection is available only in limited edition and customized versions because each piece is made entirely by hand.
