NEW GUINEA GOLD (NGG) is to purchase a yet another diamond core drill rig, including spare parts and rod strings which is presently operating at the Mt Penck Project under a hire agreement from Frontier Resources Ltd.%%By September end NGG will own and be operate five drills for resource definition and exploration on its 50 per cent owned Kanon Resources ("Kanon") projects. This equipment includes four diamond core rigs and one combined RC/diamond core, track mounted rig. A drill rig is now operating at the Imwauna Prospect (Normanby Project) with two drills operating at the Mt Penck Project (one drill is owned by Kanon and one by NGG). One diamond core drill rig is currently being shipped from Tasmania to the Sinivit Project and the remaining RC/core rig is being shipped from Lae in Papua New Guinea to Sinivit. Early October, NGG/Kanon might continue exploration/resource definition drilling in progress at Imwauna, Mt Penck and Mt Sinivit.%%NGG may also be drilling several holes at the Weioko Prospect (Sehulea Property) towards year end, to ensure compliance with work commitments, using the drill rig presently at Imwauna.
