P. N. Gadgil Jewellers Pvt Ltd in association with SVG Worldwide launched a social organization ‘Think Pure Foundation’ on the occasion of 37th birthday of Saurabh Gadgil, Managing Director P. N. Gadgil Jewellers Pvt Ltd. The inauguration of the organization took place at the hands of Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, President, Global Research Alliance. Kumar Ketkar an eminent Journalist was the chief guest for the ceremony along with Sanjay Kakade, Member of Parliament, Chanchalatai Kodre, Mayor Pune, Aniket Amte (Social worker, Lok Biradari Prakalp).%% Dajikaka Gadgil passed away this year on 10th January, eight months short of his 100th birthday. The Think Pure Foundation wishes to further his philanthropic legacy through this initiative. The foundation has three aims - to promote ‘Education and Empowerment of Women’, to ‘Provide Care & a Happy Environment for the aged’ and to ‘Assist Needy Students in Vocational Pursuits especially in the field of music’.%% Besides this, the Foundation will establish a set of prestigious awards for outstanding contribution especially demonstrating a virtuous personality in the field of Sports, Media and Business. The areas for the Foundations work and awards have been chosen from the personal interests of Shri. Dajikaka Gadgil. In his lifetime he has actively supported these initiatives by helping both individuals and institutions.%% During the function, NGOs such as the Jan seva Foundation, Lok Biradari Prakalp, Aditya Pratishthan, Gandharwa Mahavidyalaya, Ved Pathshala and International Federation of University Women’s Associations were felicitated.%% On this occasion Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar said “Dajikaka was an exemplary entrepreneur and a citizen.
