Titan anticipates Rs. 1,400 crore revenue from gold scheme next fiscal

New GHS, in spite of being compliant with interest rates, had lost steam due to regulations and Titan faced a tough time this fiscal wooing its customers back.

Forevermark, the diamond brand from the De Beers group held its third annual Forevermark Forum at Jaipur. Forevermark does this yearly event to get all the Forevermark diamantaires, their authorized retailers and management at one place, to commune its development plans and commemorate the brand growth. %% Present at the event were Stephen Lussier, CEO, Forervermark; Costantino Papadimitriou , Head of Brand and Strategy, Forevermark; Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India; Toranj Mehta, manager Marketing, Forevermark India and the retailers and manufacturers exhibiting their collections like Rose, Kiran Gems, KGK Entice, Hari Krishna Exports and more. %% Stephen Lussier highlighted on their plans for India, with special attention on the new Forevermark diamond grading institute in Surat. He said, “We are concentrating more on making India the biggest consumer of diamond after USA, China, Japan and Hong Kong. Hence, we are planning a diamond grading facility in Surat which is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2015. We have invested around 45 crore and it has a huge capacity for diamonds. India is by now the biggest polishing and manufacturing hub throughput globe and this will facility will facilitate reduction of logistics expenses thus making diamonds further reasonable.” %% Costantino Papadimitriou spoke on the Forevermark design inspiration journey and an insight into the Forevermark institute of design and innovation. While Sachin Jain had a walk through showcasing the media wall, promise App, manufacturer counters and Site holders’ counters. He also spoke about their plans to incorporate a new 3D technology for viewing the jewellery and its details in order to make the consumer’s experience more interesting and easy. He also shared a glimpse of the making of their new audio visual advertisement based on the theme of ‘Holding Hands’ which will be seen soon. He further went on explaining his marketing strategies adopted during festivals along with explaining about the Unique number assigned to each Forevermark diamond and its importance. %% To encourage innovation, Forevermark had held a competition between their manufacturers for the best voted jewellery design by retailers, which was bagged by Rose. %% The forum primarily held for strengthening relation with their partners and sharing business as well as consumer related strategies was held at Fairmount Resort in Jaipur. Many retailers from around the India visited the forum and exhibition.
