Property developer Brett Jolly, whose mining firm reportedly discovered the largest diamond in South Africa, is unsure of the stone being a diamond afterall. James Allan, a former top-rated diamond analyst, commented on the stone, viewing its low resolution internet image that “The crystal looks far too perfect and it looks like it's a fluorite crystal or something else. I'd be extremely surprised if it was a diamond”.
