The Journey

A group as strong and robust in the area of diamond and design, started with a humble beginning in the year 1973. The Founder of the group, Himat Vora, gave almost 2 decades of his life to working with leading diamond players before he started off on his own in the trading of cut and polished diamonds. Romil Impex, since 1992, hence became a leading source for loose diamonds for some of the biggest diamond groups in India and even internationally.

Gradually Himat Vora realised that all diamonds eventually land up in beautiful jewellery and his awe for jewellery design led to the setting up of the Group’s first jewellery manufacturing unit, Romil Jewelry.

Leadership

Along with Himat Vora, his two sons have been helping in expanding and growing the business further. Jaymin Vora, Himat Vora’s elder son took charge of the jewellery business and targeted first at the international market with fantastic design and quality. Romil Vora, the younger son, today heads the Group’s loose diamond office based in the central hub of diamond operations in BKC, Mumbai.

Over the past couple of years, operations of jewellery making expanded and a deeper understanding of even the domestic markets was achieved. Hence, Romil Jewelry even enhanced its factory facilities gradually to cater to the domestic markets. A full-fledged design team, a complete manufacturing unit right up to Quality Control and Refining, an aggressive sales team and the support of almost 200 skilled workforce doing quality manufacturing made Romil’s values of Imagination, Innovation& Ingenuity come true. Today, Romil Jewelry boasts of having India’s topmost retailers as its clientele and has even tapped into the leading jewellers internationally.

Growing Further

In the year 2017, Romil has evolved completely with an independent building infrastructure in the heart of MIDC that houses all state-of-theart facilities to make quality diamond jewellery products that are in line with the best in the world. Everything right from the design till the shipment and customer service is all controlled and co-ordinated by the Sales and Service team. It has consolidated its strengths, analysed the weakness and threats and is all geared to go ahead and plunge into the international world of jewellery opportunity. Romil Online, a works order processing system has also been tested and put into play.
