KGK Group’s diamond operations awarded at Jewellery World Awards

The Jewellery World Awards (JWA) has honoured KGK Group with the Manufacturer of the Year Award in Diamonds Category for the year 2021. The award was presented on February 21 in Dubai.

Sandeep Kothari, Group Managing Director, received the award on behalf of the entire team from Nirupa Bhatt, Consultant Advisor, GIA, in the presence of industry leaders.

According to a company release, “Over the years, KGK has witnessed an exemplary growth in its diamond operations. The recent launch of an ultramodern diamond manufacturing facility in Saurimo, Angola, testifies to the same. Discerning diamond buyers worldwide seeking natural and ethical diamonds trust KGK and understand its advantages of integrated supply pipeline, expertise, quality and choice. KGK Group is amongst a handful of global companies which are De Beers Sightholders, Alrosa Alliance Members and Rio Tinto Select Diamantaires.”

Kothari dedicated this award to the entire KGK family and expressed his gratitude to those who helped the group move forward. “I thank the jury for considering us for this honour, as well as our loyal customers and colleagues. A business is not only led by one leader, but by a team of people who work relentlessly to improve the brand and services. For this honour and distinction, we are grateful to Jewellery World Awards. KGK Group is mentored by Navrattan Kothari, Group Chairman, who took over in the 1960s.
