Amrapali Showcased their Latest Spring-Summer '19 Jewellery Collection In Collaboration with Renowned Designer Sanjay Garg

India’s iconic heritage jewellery brand Amrapali Jaipur created magnificent pieces that gave a befitting tribute to style and aesthetics of Southern India; each piece harmonized the classical tradition through rare craftsmanship and could be revered as the most iconic and inventive jewellery creations with great love and respect.

Set against the backdrop of a natural garden with live music from the folk artists, Raw Mango collection ‘Bageecha’ featured the flora and fauna of summer gardens. Models draped in sarees and suits woven in silk brocade, lightweight organza in a range of summer colours, transitioning from the warmer daytimes of angoori and lavender, to the evening black and chatak peela exuded traditional grandiose and simplicity in full form.

Amrapali Spring-Summer ’19 elevated Garg’s demure collection that included Classic Polki Chokers, Gold Chotis, Kanauti Earrings, Gold Belts, Bejewelled Chotis, Mathapattis and Maangtikaas all in pure gold that was adorned in a traditional Indian way and channelled Amrapali’s rich heritage. Celebrating International Women’s Day at the event, Chairperson and Committee Member of FICCI FLO, Yashodhara Shroff; Designer Sanjay Garg from the label Raw Mango; CEO and Creative Director, Amrapali Jaipur, Tarang Arora felicitated women achievers from various fields such as philanthropy, science, entrepreneurship, health and fitness, performing arts etc.

Talking about the association with Raw Mango, CEO and Creative Director, Amrapali Jaipur, Tarang Arora said, “It is always wonderful to collaborate with someone who shares the same aesthetic vocabulary. Sanjay’s roots in craft and community and his pursuit to create a new conversation with textiles are really impressive and lending our jewellery pieces to Raw Mango seemed like a natural progression for the brand that roots itself in India’s cultural heritage.”
