Industry players share thoughts about business expectations and their Diwali plans
On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, jewellers share their thoughts about sales expectations, trends in the market, consumer sentiments and the festive offerings that have:
Shrey Mehta, Director, Pooja Diamonds said, “The market looks very good this season there are a lot of weddings this year which makes the season a hit. We have launched our new Riyaasat collection which is our bridal jewellery edition for the season. Inspite of e-commerce players entering the segment, bridal shopping continues to remain strong in offline retail space. Since then, buying precious metals such as gold, silver and other metals on Dhanteras is considered auspicious. Even for token purchases or bookings people prefer visiting the store to acquire their favorite jewels on this day. This year we have introduced Sunehri Diwali, a festive exhibition at our Ahmedabad outlet where we are hosting a wide range of our latest edition, giving away instant gifts for visitors, on the spot discounts and much more from 13th October till Dhanteras.”
