A new Sabyasachi jewellery store is now open in Taj Krishna at Banjara Hills.
Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has made his presence felt in Hyderabad by launching a grand new jewellery store in Banjara Hills. To make the occasion special, the designer has also launched an exclusive cocktail ring collection.
The store is located at Taj Krishna and this news was made public by the designer via Facebook. The store started welcoming patrons January 21 onwards and is now open 7 days a week.
To launch this store Sabyasachi hosted a lunch party at 101 Dining Table where he interacted with the area's most established socialites. Making it stylish was philanthropist Sudha Reddy of the Meil Group who arrived at the venue in a horse-drawn carriage wearing an ensemble comprising a Neeta Lulla bespoke gown and Dolce & Gabbana accessories.
The exclusive collection of cocktail rings made available at this store is inspired by Sabyasachi's hometown of Kolkata named ‘The North Calcutta Cocktail Ring Collection’ and the collection offers an antique charm with precise craftsmanship as an ode to the grandeur of Kolkata.
“Growing up in Calcutta, I was fascinated by how the private was so much more exuberant than the public,” Sabyasachi Mukherjee wrote on Facebook about the collection. “Hand embroidered chemises and printed satin petticoats under humble cotton sarees, decrepit homes with extravagant art and Osler chandeliers, and the most magnificent of terrazzo floors hidden beneath dusty carpets. Perhaps that’s is why the back of my jewellery is as lavish as the front.”
