GJEPC’s Regional Office in Delhi organised a workshop titled “How to start exports of gems and jewellery”, with the aim of involving newly enrolled members. This collaborative event, held on 12th July saw the participation of around 40 jewellers and took place at the Council’s office in Flatted Jhandewalan, New Delhi. The seminar was jointly conducted with the Office of the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (CLA), New Delhi, ECGC Limited, New Delhi, and Dak Niryat Kendra, Department of Post, New Delhi.

The workshop featured presentations by industry experts who provided valuable insights and information to the attendees. Shri Palani Phani Kiran S., ITS, Assistant Director at DGFT, shared detailed information about the schemes offered by DGFT, with a specific focus on the gems and jewellery sector.
Shri Rakesh Mani Shukla, Senior Manager at ECGC Limited, delivered a presentation on insurance schemes and the various coverage options available for gems and jewellery exporters. Shri Vickey Kumar, Director (Mails & BD), presented on behalf of Dak Niryat Kendra, explaining the comprehensive process of exporting jewellery through their platform.
