The origin of the Devi Awards is rooted in B.K. Saraf Jewellers' aspiration to create a platform aligned with its fundamental principles, effectively engaging its primary audience – women. The central aim was to celebrate the indispensable role of women within the jewellery industry's ecosystem and beyond. Amol Bansal, the Managing Director, underlines their intention to cultivate a sense of belonging among women, recognizing their profound significance in the community. The Devi Awards also serve as a pivotal means of advancing the brand's standing in the market.

Carefully Selected Honorees:

In its third year, the Devi Awards 3.0 introduced a nomination process, leading to a surge in participation, with over 200 nominations within the initial three weeks. The selection process for Devi Awards 3.0 involved scrupulous examination by a panel of esteemed jurors, all of whom were previous award recipients. Bansal underscores their primary criterion for selecting winners, emphasizing the authentication of nominees' contributions by credible sources.

The nine distinguished Devis in this year's edition encompass Vishakha Shukla (Social Work and Animal Welfare), Anubhuti Jain (Entrepreneur), Anju Goel (Healthcare and Medicine), Saba Jafri (Content Creation), Suhani Gurnani (Fashion & Design), Poonam and Ishitta Ranjan Chowdhary (Makeup and Artistry), Padma Shree Awardee Veena Tandon (Academics & Education), Tulika Banerjee (Entertainment), and Anita Singh (Art & Creativity).

Additionally, the brand recognized 'Nanhi Devis' (young Devis) this year, honouring Baani Chaawla, a 15-year-old visually challenged singer, anchor, and RJ, and Ginni Sehgal, another 15-year-old accomplished Bharatnatyam dancer.

The Devi Awards initiative mirrors the brand's fundamental values and unwavering respect for women's accomplishments. Bansal concludes that Devi Awards represent B.K. Saraf's way of contributing to society is aimed at recognizing the exceptional contributions of women, sharing their stories with the world, and inspiring women to embrace their inner Goddess, pursuing their dreams with unwavering confidence.
