Serial entrepreneur Priyanka Gill has exited her role as Venture Partner at Kalaari Capital to embark on a new venture, COLUXE, a lab-grown diamond brand aiming to revolutionise India’s fine jewellery market. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and ethical sourcing, COLUXE seeks to redefine luxury jewellery for modern consumers.

The brand, which has already secured early-stage investment, plans to launch digitally by mid-2025, followed by a retail expansion. Gill's vision includes creating a category-defining platform that integrates technology-driven features like AI-powered personalisation, virtual try-ons, and multi-use jewellery settings, making fine jewellery more versatile and accessible.

"We are witnessing a pivotal shift in consumer preferences. COLUXE will be at the forefront of this change, setting global standards for fine jewellery with sustainability and innovation," said Gill, who serves as the company's Founder and CEO.

COLUXE's collections will include contemporary designs such as solitaire rings, pendants, tennis bracelets, and themed jewellery inspired by zodiac signs and gifting occasions. The brand's omnichannel strategy will connect digital platforms with flagship retail stores for a seamless shopping experience.

Highlighting the growing demand for lab-grown diamonds, Gill emphasised their eco-friendly appeal. "Lab-grown diamonds are visually and molecularly identical to mined diamonds but offer a more sustainable option, perfectly suited for today’s conscious consumers," she added.

As India’s fine jewellery market is projected to reach USD 50 billion, COLUXE positions itself to capture a significant share by championing ethical sourcing, tech-driven innovation, and a contemporary approach to luxury. The brand's journey promises to reshape the jewellery landscape with a blend of tradition and modernity.
