Jaipur Gems has unveiled a new high jewellery piece centred around a rare 58.88-carat Colombian emerald, underscoring the enduring appeal of coloured gemstones in the fine jewellery space. The necklace, titled The Floral Garden Emerald Necklace, is currently on display at the brand’s Hughes Road boutique in Mumbai.

The featured emerald is notable for its vivid green hue and exceptional clarity, characteristics that have long made Colombian emeralds among the most coveted gemstones globally. Surrounding the centre stone are 456 diamonds with a total carat weight of 70.00, set in 18KT gold. The necklace weighs 55.62 grams.

While pricing is available on request, the necklace reflects the brand’s focus on rare materials and intricate craftsmanship. The use of high-carat diamonds alongside the centre emerald positions the piece within the realm of collectible jewellery, aimed at connoisseurs and serious collectors.

This launch comes at a time when coloured gemstones are seeing a resurgence in the luxury market, valued not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their historical and cultural significance. Emeralds, in particular, continue to be associated with royalty, prestige, and serenity.
