United Brands LLC, Beverly Hills, released its 2011 top 10 lists of the highest ranking jewelry, watch and diamond brands in the world.

The {{Belgo-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BICCI)}} hosted an impressive event to celebrate its 50th anniversary. A gala dinner was hosted at the Taj Mahal Palace & Towers, Mumbai that was attended by {{Prince Philippe}} and {{Princess Mathilde of Belgium}}.
The glitterating event began with a dazzling display of handcrafted diamond jewellery by ORRA-The Diamond Destination. Few are aware of ORRA's Belgian origin and that it is part of world's largest diamond manufacturing company. Rosyblue. Beginning with her international collection she moved to the contemporary and then back in time to her heritage - though both the fascinating cut of diamonds and jewellery inspired by different ears. Accompanying them in this fascinating journey and weaving a dream around the ORRA woman were international designers Pierre Gautier and Ravi Chawla of Ravissant.
Perfected over a long time, ORRA's handcrafted jewellery was specially designed for the occasion. Starting with beautiful sets, bracelets, anklets and earrings, the show culminated with a mesmerizing diamond studded bustier that summed up the journey from contemporary to heritage. This masterpiece is worth a million dollar.
The international sequence had a fabulous collection from world famous designer Pierre Gautier, whose elegant and exclusive creations are inspirational and have a timeless appeal and Ravissant, a name synonymous to luxury, owned by Ravi Chawla and Mina Chawla. Ravissant presented their couture collection with the purity of textile, accentuated with subtle sensuality of romantic drape, keeping the mood modern, but gently entering the era paying an ode to the rich textile and heritage of India.
The sparkling Show was staged by one of India's leading choreographers, Marc Robinson and a beautiful bevy of models. This Show was followed by a black tie fusion dinner at the crystal room. Some of those seen mincingly at this exclusive dinner were CEO of ORRA- Vijay Jain; CEO of Rosyblue- Dilip Mehta, Governor S.M. Krishna, Rahul Bajaj, Zarine Khan, Atul and Vandana Kasbeker, filmmaker Rajiv Rai, Rajesh and Zeba Kohli. The Belgians seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the evening. Among these were Florist Daniel Ost, Designer Pierre Gautier and Anchor Nina DeMan and Massant.
This event was a perfect opportunity for the city to play host to Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde who came in especially for the event. Marc Verwilghen, Federal Minister of Economy, Energy, Foreign Trade & Science Policy, Fientje Moerman, Vice-Minister-President of the Flemish Government and Flemish Minister of Economy, Enterprise, Science, Innovation and Foreign Trade and other senior Belgian and Indian officials also graced the occasion %% The Organizers spared no efforts for this classy and elegant event. Besides special beer and snacks, Barco breathtaking flowers from Belgian florist Daniel Ost fascinated the elite gathering. This occasion was hosted by Journalist and Radio Jockey Nina DeMan, the Belgian representative at the World Idols in December 2003 and one of the leading ladies of the Benelux franchise of the popular TV-channel. %% The Belgian Economic Mission visited India from March 12 to 19, 2005. The Belgian-Indian Gala Night was this week's highlight and an ideal opportunity to meet and network with leading businessmen and officials from Belgium and India.
