The Christie's Geneva sale of jewels sold 66 percent jewels by lot and amounted to $19,586,628. Of the total lots sold, each of the four top lots featured diamonds and was bought for more than $1 million. %% A rectangular-cut, 30.52-carat, D, flawless diamond was the top lot and it sold for around $3,173,394, while a 30.7-carat pear-shaped D, IF diamond was the second top lot and was bought for $2,608,257. The third top lot was bought by Laurence Graff for $1,991,743. It was a 20.46-carat rectangular-cut D, VS1 diamond. Following the top lot list, a 57.02 carats rectangular-cut, fancy intense yellow, VVS2, was the fourth and was bought for $1,213,761. %5 The company is reported to have obtained a reasonable sale price on the top lots.
