Noted jewellery retailer and manufacturer P.N. Gadgil's one day jewellery exhibition on March 6, 2011 drew a large gathering of over 1500 visitors. The exhibition included jewellery collections inspired by ‘Designs of notable time periods’ to the modern day consumer preferences.%% The collections included: {{ Mangalsutra collection}} - The jewellery is defined with black beads woven into gold; {{Temple collection}} deigned in gold in motifs in definite symbols of divinity; {{The Royal collection}} with its designs inspired by the jewel history of the country’s royalty ( the jewellery is set in polki and jadau); {{ The Swarajya Collection}} dedicated to the Maharashtrian jewellery culture with their unique graceful embellishments like thushi, mohanmal, bhudgi and saaz inspired by the Peshwai rule; {{Wild Gold collection}} that sets the bold look inspired by the alluring North-East Indian culture, with designs that are structured, chunky yet detailed jewel inscriptions of the entire region and {{Golden Jazz}}, a collection that has a ‘westernized’ appeal, incorporated with a suave Italian assemblage. %% Also included in the sale was {{Silver Jewellery}} offering stone-studded silver jewels (nose pins, pendants, bracelets, toe rings and more), especially catering to demand for the young consumer, who is showing higher affinity towards the white metal. There was also silver ware. The exhibition was held at Sant Eknath Rangmandir, Usmanpura, Aurangabad.
